Welcome to the 2nd annual Fools Fest Sprints – A party with ergs!

All are encouraged to come and have a pint or two with us. Voluntarily doing a 2K is an acquired taste, so you don't have to. We have options! Choose the events you want to do, or just hang out and watch. Everyone is welcome, racing or not, and we hope that you will bring your friends and family with you.

Come for the races and stay for the party!

Beer Package:

This year we are offering a beer package at registration for $15. The package gets you a 2019 Fools Fest 16 oz collectible tall boy glass and a beer bracelet for open bar access until the beer is gone. Must show valid ID at registration table to receive your beer bracelet.

The 2019 Fools Fest glass is available for individual purchase at registration and will also be for sale at the event. You don’t have to get the beer to get the glass.

And yes, we will have soda and water for the kids and those not interested in an adult beverage, not to mention some light munchies.

The tunes will be on, the mood will be festive, come and be foolish.

New this year: HOT FOOD! Our good friends Carrie & Ryan have graciously volunteered to man the charcoal grill out back so we’ll have hot links, and slaw being served up all day during the races and afterwards during the party. So don’t leave early!

Parking at PXM CrossFit:

PXM CrossFit does not have its own dedicated parking. It is street/residential parking. If possible, biking, walking or public transit are the best and most encouraged options. There is an 84 line bus stop right in front of our building, and we are about 3 blocks North on Ridge Ave from the Red Line Bryn Mawr stop. If driving, parking is usually found best on Early, Wayne, Ardmore and Glenwood Avenues (north of our building). South of our building or south of Ridge Ave, parking can also be usually found on Hollywood, Glenwood and Edgewater Avenues (as approaching the gym from Bryn Mawr Ave). Make sure you check out maps ahead of time as there are some one-way’s to be aware of. There is also paid (green sign - ParkChicago curbside) parking on Broadway and Ridge around Walgreens (~ 2 blocks south of gym). Do not use Walgreens parking lot, however, as you might get ticketed or towed
